If you’re someone like me, who only knows about Pokemon through friends and young nieces and nephews, you also think Pikachu is the most-liked Pokemon.
We’re wrong! Snorlax outlasts the popularity of all Pokemons combined since the release of Pokemon GO.
Yes, Pikachu is the most popular. And so as Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur.
But if we’re to rate them according to likeability, Snorlax wins hands down! Well, at least for me.
As proof of the Pokeman character’s likeability, I found a range of Snorlax merchandise: t-shirt, board game, eye max, stuff toys, and what-have-yous.
My impression is that with the diverse Snorlax merchandise, Pokemon could not get enough of the vast, bipedal, dark blue-green character.
Snorlax looks a little like another famous fictional creature, the Totoro from the movie “My neighbor Totoro.”
In all this Snorlax merchandise, you will see his cream-colored face, belly, and feet.
And speaking of his belly, Snorlax’s body is mostly his belly. His limbs are tiny, and he might as well be an egg!
His head is half as big as his belly.
His two pointed ears and two sharp teeth were protruding from its lower jaw.
With all his roundedness, you wouldn’t think he still can walk. Well, he got feet as round as his belly!
Both feet have three claws and a circular brown paw pad.
Snorlax also has short arms with five claws on each.
Perhaps the best word to describe Snorlax is “bulky.”
Now, here’s the exciting part where we all envy the creature: he sleeps all day and only wakes up when hungry.
And he does not merely eat. He needs at least 900 pounds of food daily before he can sleep soundly.
Good thing Snorlax is not a picky eater and would eat anything, so it is easy for him to achieve that food requirement.
That lifestyle may explain why he is bulky and round. His name “Snorlax,” in fact, is a combination of “snore” and “relax!”
His lifestyle is genuinely one covetable state of being as he can continue eating while relaxing.
Snorlax is a rare Pokemon as players need to search in mountains and forests to see him. Perhaps, this behavior is why once players get Snorlax, they couldn’t just let go.
But, if you’re someone who preferably wants to hold him, you might find comfort in this Snorlax merchandise we have here. They are the closest thing to bring Snorlax into the real world.
These Pokemon dioramas are like terrariums, except that they show your favorite Pokemons in their beautiful ecosystem inside a glass Pokeball.
Surprise the Pokemon lovers this coming Christmas with this Squirtle stuffed animal. The plush toy is so soft, and snuggly you may want it for yourself, really.
