Celty’s Helmet

Are you going to cosplay, Comic-Con, Dress-up Party, or Halloween and want a costume that’s out of the ordinary?

Don’t go anywhere else because you have come to the right place. Take a look at this Celty’s helmet!

It’s breathable and bright yellow. It has a delicate cat design and excellent artistry.

Don’t get fooled by the seeming cuteness of this resin-made helmet. Its backstory is something that gives anyone chills up the spine.

You see, Celty Sturluson, the one who owns this helmet, is a Dullahan, an Irish fairy who lives in one Japanese town.

Seems ordinary, huh? Well, Celty is always searching for her missing head!

People have, in fact, two monickers for her. Hear these out: The Headless Rider and The Black Rider!

(Wow, just saying those nicknames freaks me out!)

Celty used to roam around town riding a headless horse. But through the changing times, her means of transportation also changed to a black motorcycle.

Celty is aware that she is an Irish fairy. However, she has no memories of the times before being headless.

The only fact she knows is that a thief stole her head and that she needs to find it.

I am telling you! This helmet is what nightmares are made of!

Imagine wearing the helmet of someone who is roaming around town headless!

Okay, okay, before you freak out, let me tell you one fact. Celty is purely fictional.

She is a character from “Durarara!!” It’s a Japanese light novel series by Ryohgo Narita with illustrations by Suzuhito Yasuda.

“Durarara!!” also has a Japanese anime version which makes Celty so popular among cosplayers.

Fans even have a theory that the word Celtic inspired Celty’s name. Meanwhile, her last name, Sturluson, got its inspiration from the Icelandic poet and historian “Snorri Sturluson.”

But back to her head, shall we? Celty’s helmet hides the fact that she is headless.

However, she cannot move and perform as normal human beings do. She type to express voice out her feelings.

And while she attempts cooking, her food is bland because she has no mouth!

So, while you wear Celty’s helmet in cosplay or costume party, think about how a headless person moves.

You might take home the best costume award this year. Good luck!

Celty’s helmet makes a perfect Halloween costume because the lady who owns it is headless who said to be roaming around town looking for the part she’s missing.
